If you want to send your loved one's heart racing this Valentine's Day, Kelley Blue Book has just the cars for you.

Survey: Which Car Is Most Romantic?

The company's Web site announced its list of 10 romantic rides for 2009.

"So many people have romantic feelings tied to cars, whether it is the thought of what a car represents at a certain time in a person's life, an activity they are passionate about, or perhaps the memory of a long drive with a special someone," said Jack R. Nerad, executive editorial director and executive market analyst for Kelley Blue Book.

Topping the list was the ultra-compact 2009 smart fortwo, which Kelley Blue Book said, ""Makes it feel like you're driving one of those electric carts on an island honeymoon."

Rounding out the top half of the list, in order, were the Porsche Cayman, Chevrolet Corvette, Toyota Prius and Lotus Elise SC.

The bottom half of the top 10 list featured the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, Buick Lucerne, Mazda MX-5 Miata, Dodge Challenger and Jaguar XK.

Nerad said the list aims to cover a variety of vehicles that will appeal to different types of people.

"Some will seek romance in a small, fuel-efficient hybrid while others might have a similar experience in a high-performance sports car, but with Valentine's Day upon us, love is in the air...and on the road," he said.
