Robert A. "Bob" Beyerlein, 47, has worked in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories at Bay Regional Medical Center since February of 2006, after a recent transfer from the Surgery Department. In March 2005, Bob was on a family vacation in Hawaii when he suffered the first major symptoms of what would lead him back to Bay Regional Medical Center, and Dr. Srinivas Chakravarthi for surgical repair of a cervical (neck) spine injury.

Bay Regional Medical Center announced today the addition of two exceptional neurosurgeons to the medical staff. Srinivas Chakravarthi, MD; FRCS (Canada); and Siva Sriharan, MD; FRCS (Canada) have joined Ravindra N. Goyal, MD (FACS) at Bay Neurosurgery Associates effective January 17, 2005. Drs. Chakravarthi and Sriharan most recently practiced in Windsor, Ontario and bring to the area extensive experience in all facets of neurological surgery.
