FLINT, Mich. -- Flint police are searching for the gunman who killed a 37-year-old man Thursday afternoon.

The man was discovered in a field near, one block form Steward Street, Berger Drive and Lakeforest Drive.

Police said witnesses reported seeing the victim and another man arguing before the shooting happened.

When officers were scouring the field for shell casings, they found a trail of dried blood leading to a nearby house.

Police said they believe that’s where the initial confrontation began.

The shooter may have fled the scene in a green car with several men inside, witnesses told police.

The victim’s identity has not been released.
