    Next Screening Oct. 14 In Genesee County

    GENESEE COUNTY, Mich. -- During Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, the Genesee County Cancer Connection is sponsoring free breast cancer screenings for women in the county ages 18 and older.

    The screenings are being done on a walk-in basis only; no appointment is necessary. A physician will conduct the free breast exam.

    Those who qualify will be given a certificate for a free mammogram, which will be scheduled for a later date.

    Here are the dates and times:
    • Monday, Oct. 6
    • 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
    • Great Lakes Cancer Institute - McLaren
    • 4100 Beecher Road, Flint
    • Tuesday, Oct. 14
    • 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
    • Genesys Hurley Cancer Institute
    • 302 Kensington Ave., Flint
    The Genesee County Cancer Connection is made up of Genesys, Hurley, McLaren and the American Cancer Society of Genesee County.
