SHIAWASSEE COUNTY, Mich. -- The Shiawassee County prosecutor being investigated for drinking while driving has admitted he has a problem.Prosecutor Randy Colbry released a statement Thursday saying he'll be seeking treatment -- although in his letter he doesn't say specifically for what.Colbry writes, “I have come to accept that I have a problem and will be seeking treatment.”Colbry is currently under investigation for drunken driving after a Tuesday afternoon accident in Genesee County’s Venice Township.Witnesses said he left the scene of the crash, but was later connected to it, although at last check no charges have been filed.If Colbry does take a leave of absence, the letter states that assistant prosecutor Sara Edwards will be in charge of the prosecutor’s office.To read the letter in its entirety, click here.
