History Of Sun Exposure Important Risk Factor For Cancer

Did you spend a lot of time soaking up the sun when you were younger?

A new study from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill found adults who had the most sun exposure before age 20 were more likely to develop a gene mutation that is linked to nearly half of all melanomas, the deadliest form of skin cancer.

Doctors are considering this history of exposure an important risk factor for the disease.
