MIDLAND, Mich. -- Police said a 21-year-old woman was arrested after an attempted armed robbery in the Midland Meijer parking lot.It happened around 9:30 p.m. Sunday night. Authorities said a Freeland woman was at her car when the female suspect came up to her, said she had a weapon, and demanded her purse.Police said the victim told the suspect to get lost, and ran into the store to call police.
The suspect was later arrested. The suspect's name is not being released at this time.
