MIDLAND, Mich. -- An electrical failure at Dow Corning’s Midland site during a maintenance operation led to a small vapor release of a heat transfer fluid Thursday morning.Dow Corning officials said emergency responders were immediately on the scene and executed the site’s emergency plan with assistance from the Midland Fire Department.As a precautionary measure, Saginaw Road and Salzburg Road were closed.Officials said no vapors were detected beyond Dow Corning’s fence line.
No injuries were reported.
