The Tuscola County Sheriff’s Department continues its investigation into a collision that killed one man and seriously injured two others on Saturday.

Police said 18-year-old Andrew Morningstar, of Millington, pulled out from Murphy Lake Road and hit two motorcycles that were traveling southbound along M-15.

Neither motorcycle had time to stop and struck Morningstar's vehicle, according to police.

Michael Wolford, 39, of Goodrich, was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The second motorcycle was driven by 40-year-old John Dunahay, of Waterford. He and his 49-year-old passenger received serious injures but are expected to survive.

Morningstar and his three passengers were also transported to St. Mary’s for observation.

Police said neither high-speed nor alcohol was a factor in the crash.
