Police Say 16-Year-Old Spit On Bay County Sheriff's Deputy

KAWKAWLIN, Mich. -- The Bay County Sheriff's Department said an 18-year old Kawkawlin man and his 16-year old girlfriend from Midland fought with deputies trying to break up a drinking party.Reports indicate the deputies arrived at the man’s house early Monday, and that as police were attempting to break up the party, the girl spit into a sheriff's deputy's eye.Two patrol cars also were damaged.The man was being held in the Bay County Jail, while the girl was held at the Bay County Juvenile Center.
