MIDLAND COUNTY, Mich. -- An entire subdivision that was left undeveloped and 12 other parcels are on the auction block as Midland County Treasurer Rick Enszer attempts to get these properties back on the tax rolls.Enszer, for the fourth straight year, will serve as auctioneer for the County’s Foreclosure Sale, scheduled for Tuesday, July 22, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the atrium of the Midland County Services Building. The subdivision, featuring 34 platted, specific lots in Birchwood Shores Subdivision in Hope Township, is packaged for sale as one purchase.Minimum bid is $190,000. This subdivision is the same location of the spec home mentioned above that is available for viewing at the July 13 Open House.
Additional properties for sale include an L-shaped 1.99-acre lot in Lee Township requiring a minimum bid of $1,300; a little over 5 –acre lot with a trailer at 2655 E. The highest bidder on each property will be awarded the property, as is.Payment by cash, check or credit card is expected on the evening of the sale.
