Two local filmmakers have just debuted their first film, financed with funds origionally set aside for a spring break vacation.

Paul Bukoski and Nelson Piper are 2008 graduates of Millington High School and spent a month writing “Mustup.”

The two started shooting the movie in April and finished earlier this month. Most of the film was shot in the Millington, Birch Run and Vassar areas.

“Mustup” premiered last week at Cinema Hollywood in Birch Run, and another showing is scheduled Friday at midnight.

Both Bukoski and Nelson wrote, directed, produced and acted in the film, with several friends acting alongside them.

“Mustup” is the story of three roommates who operate a Web site that does pranks on request. The roommates are approached by a guy who wants them to help with a new product, and things get worse from there.

The movie has some adult language and is not suitable for children.
