Saginaw police are searching for a tan SUV that was seen leaving the scene of a shooting that injured five people.

The vehicle is possibly a Pontiac Aztec or Buick Rendezvous. Police said a large crowd of people were standing outside the house when the car drove by and opened fire.

The victims, three men and two women, were shot in the 3300 block of Harold Street just before 2 a.m. Wednesday. Police said some of the victims were shot multiple times, but all injures were considered non-life threatening.

Neighbors living in the area are a bit on edge. “If we develop a neighborhood watch and everybody got together, the community pulled together, it would be a better place to live,” said William Murphy, a resident living just a few houses away from the shooting scene.

At this time police do not have any suspects in custody and no motive for the shooting has been identified.

Four of the shooting victims live in Saginaw and the fifth is from Buena Vista Township. Police said their ages range from 17-to 21-years-old.
