Police Say 20-Year-Old Victim Failed To Yield

SAGINAW COUNTY, Mich. -- A Hemlock man is dead following a Monday morning car crash in Richland Township.Saginaw County police said that around 7 a.m. a 2000 Oldsmobile Bravada was traveling southbound on Pruess Road when the driver, Alexander Scott Heitkamp, failed to yield at the O’Hara Road intersection.The 20-year-old victim's vehicle was struck by a 1985 Chevrolet truck traveling eastbound on O'Hara Road.The driver of the truck was treated for minor injuries and released.
The crash is still under investigation by the Saginaw County Sheriff’s office.
