Police Say 20-Year-Old Victim Failed To Yield

SAGINAW COUNTY, Mich. -- A Hemlock man is dead following a Monday morning car crash in Richland Township.Saginaw County police said that around 7 a.m. a 2000 Oldsmobile Bravada was traveling southbound on Pruess Road when the driver, Alexander Scott Heitkamp, failed to yield at the O’Hara Road intersection.The 20-year-old victim's vehicle was struck by a 1985 Chevrolet truck traveling eastbound on O'Hara Road.The driver of the truck was treated for minor injuries and released.The crash is still under investigation by the Saginaw County Sheriff’s office.
