MIDLAND COUNTY, Mich. -- Eastbound US-10 at the East Ashman overpass was temporarily closed because of a tractor-trailer cab crash, according to Midland County Central Dispatch.Officials began directing eastbound traffic to Waldo Road and the Eastman Road exit around 5 a.m. Wednesday. The mangled, crushed mess of a semi-cap is all that’s left after the tractor-trailer turned over on eastbound US-10.The accident happened shortly after 4:30 a.m. Despite the visible damage, the driver was not hurt.Several miles of the eastbound lanes of US-10 were shutdown to traffic while the cab and the trailer were set upright and taken away.A Midland police officer said it’s a good idea to slow down and pay attention when you are on this section of US-10, which is a construction zone.Officials said the roadway was reopened around 4:45 p.m. Wednesday
