Businessman Sentenced For Accosting Teen

Judge Hands Clare Man Nine Month Jail Term

A Clare businessman was sentenced to nine months in jail and five years probation for accosting a teenage girl at a Halloween attraction he ran last year.

Alex Drost, 19, owner of Broken Cookie Paintball and TC Paintball in Midland, was sentenced on Friday after pleading guilty to the felony charge of accosting a minor for immoral purposes.

Dost was also order to comply with Michigan's sex offender registration law.

Police said the haunted barn was part of his paintball business.

Drost was taken into custody immediately after the court proceeding and was remanded to the Clare County Jail.
