BAY COUNTY, Mich. -- Good news for weekend beach goers as three local beaches are back open in Bay County.

Brissete Beach, South Linwood Township Park and the State Recreation Area Beach have had their closure notices lifted.

The locations had been closed for not meeting the state’s water quality standard. While the Bay County beaches are back open, several Huron County ones are still closed.

One of those is Caseville’s County Park Beach, which was closed after high levels of E-Coli were found.

A beach advisory has also been issued for Oak Beach County Park, just down the road from the Caseville park.
