ZILWAUKEE TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- A pedestrian is dead after being struck by a tractor trailer on the Zilwaukee Bridge.The incident happened just after noon Thursday in the southbound lanes of I-75. Traffic was diverted to I-675 until 2:30 p.m.
Police said a driver stepped out of a van and into the path of the truck. Right now there is no word on the driver’s identity and the Michigan State Police are investigating.
