Opening scenes for the romantic comedy “All’s Faire In Love” were shot Tuesday in downtown Flint.

Christina Ricci, Owen Benjamin, Nadine Velazquez, Bill Engvall and Cedric the Entertainer star in the film.

Production crews will shoot scenes at the Mott Foundation building, Mott Community College, Attwood Stadium and at the Michigan Renaissance Festival in Groveland Township.

Members of the Genesee County Patriots, a AAA minor league football team, will also be in the upcoming movie.

“We had a game a week ago and right on cue, the director asked us if we could take on the role of an actual college football team,” said Patriots coach Brad Lyon. “We’ll be represented next to the lead role in the movie.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, “(Owen) Benjamin will play an eager drama school grad whose new Renaissance Faire theater troupe makes him their fetch boy. His hopes and libido rise when he spots a Faire virgin (Ricci), but swashbuckling colleagues threaten to thwart their budding romance.”

Ann-Margret, Matthew Lillard and Louise Griffiths are also rumored to have appearances.
