Michigan State Police are investigating the finding of a man’s body in front of the YWCA on Midland Road in Monitor Township.

The man, a white male in his 40s or early 50s, was discovered around 10:45 p.m. Sunday.

Police said the man had no I.D. on him and he does not have any tattoos or other marks to help identify him.

Investigators believe he was walking along the road and died from a natural cause and that his death is not considered suspicious.

The man was given “John Doe” status until he can be identified.

An autopsy is scheduled to be performed.
