Saginaw Police said three of the four women shot Sunday night on Glenwood Ave. are in serious condition.

The pregnant victim, 18-year-old Jasmine Lipsey is reported to be in very serious condition Tuesday.

The victims are Jasmine Lipsey, 18, her mother, 39-year-old Denise Lipsey, 25-year-old Nikki Brookins and a 17-year-old girl whose name is being withheld at this time.

Saginaw investigators said all the victims are from Saginaw.

The 18-year-old is pregnant and was transferred to a hospital outside of Saginaw.

Police have not released any information about suspects, but told the Midland Daily News the shooting came after an argument.

Saginaw detectives said the gunman is still on the loose and they are following up on several leads.

Sunday night was by far the most terrifying night of Valencia Boyd’s life.

“It was some girls fighting,” said Boyd, who was on her porch when the four women were hit by bullets.

“It was just terrible,” she said. “Like it was a war – bullets flying past my head and everything.”

Now her Saginaw home is riddled with broken glass and bullet holes.

Boyd is not surprised such violence took place in her neighborhood.

She’s lived near the intersection of Webber and Glenwood for almost three years.

Boyd said she often feels like a prisoner in her own home.

“I stay in my house all the time,” she said. “I don’t even have friends.”

After Sunday night’s shootings, Boyd said she’s not going to take it anymore. “I’m ‘bout to move,” she said. “I’m getting away from over here, I’m leaving.”

All four victims are recovering with various levels of injury.

The 18-year-old, who is pregnant, was shot twice in the leg. TV5 is told her baby is unharmed.
