SAGINAW, Mich. -- Police said a Saginaw man died from a gun shot wound he sustained Friday night at a nightclub in downtown Saginaw.

The unidentified 41-year-old man, who was providing security at 310 Club, was shot in the torso and died hours later at St. Mary’s of Michigan Hospital.

Saginaw police said a fight between club-goers began at about 11:30 p.m. and that the man most likely wasn’t the gunman’s intended target.

Police said two other people were also shot during the incident but their injuries are non-life-threatening.
