A shiny piece of NHL history will be in Saginaw on Dec. 28.

The Detroit Red Wings Stanley Cup celebration has booked a stop at TheDow Event Center for the Saginaw Spirit’s game against the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds.

Hockeytown reclaimed its 11th Stanley Cup in June after defeating the Pittsburgh Penguins 3-2 in Game 6 of the finals.

Red Wing General Manager Ken Holland and coach Mike Babcock are also scheduled to appear for pictures and autographs after the start of the game.

According to the Spirit’s Web site, autograph and picture packages range from $15-$25.

Tickets are still available for the 4 p.m. contest.
