HURON COUNTY, Mich. -- Dozens of firefighters responded to a five-alarm fire that destroyed a historic home in Huron County on Sunday.Flames broke out at the home on Main Street in downtown Bay Port in the morning.Fairhaven Township Fire Chief David Geiger said between 50 and 75 firefighters, four fire engines, and several tankers worked to battle the blaze until 11 a.m.The structure has been deemed a total loss.
