BRIDGEPORT TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- Six Saginaw residents were arrested after a fight broke out outside of the Bridgeport Alternative Education School Thursday night.Police said a presentation for Black History Month had just wrapped when officer were called to the location. When police arrived they found a 19-year-old injured with a contusion, minor cuts and a swollen face.According to a news release, two suspects were taken into custody immediately and four others were arrested after attempting to escape. Officers also recovered three handguns from the fleeing vehicle.Police said they believe the suspects, ages 16-21, were also involved in a Tuesday shooting outside Bridgeport-Spaulding High School.Both incidents remain under investigation.If you have any information regarding either incident you’re asked to contact Bridgeport Township police.
