FLINT, Mich. -- The Country Fresh dairy plant announced Thursday it will close its Flint plant in August.Country Fresh management told TV5 the closing is due to economic conditions, excess product and the need to shift production.The facility has 180 employees, but 110 jobs will be directly affected.Some workers, including delivery truck drivers, will have the opportunity to transfer to other Country Fresh plants across the country, or as close as Grand Rapids and Livonia.The Flint facility produced and distributed dairy products like milk, ice cream and juice.
