SAGINAW COUNTY, Mich -- Savvy outlet shoppers will have a new place for bargains in Birch Run starting Thursday.

Your Fashion Secret, a division of Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan, is adding a store to the Prime Outlets.

The secondhand industry is shining in an otherwise weak retail market, which has had its share of economic downturns.

Angella Thompson, vice president of retail operations, said shoppers will find brand name clothing at a fraction of its original price.

“Shopping for bargains is a form of charity in which anyone can participate," said Thompson. "At Goodwill, revenue from the sale of used clothing funds job training programs and career placement services to those who need it most in local communities."

The grand opening for Your Fashion Secret is slated for Thursday at 10 a.m.
