EAST TAWAS, Mich. -- Tawas police are asking for the public’s help as they search for an 81-year-old woman.Emma Rush Nichols has been missing since Monday.Authorities said a note was found inside her home, saying she was going for a walk at the dock in Tawas City.Police said Nichols suffers from dementia.Deputies think she may be wandering the area on foot.Nichols is 5 feet and weighs 160 pounds.Anyone with information is asked to call the East Tawas Police Department at 989-362-7718.
