MIDLAND, Mich. -- A new full-service Holiday Inn is now open in Midland.

Holiday Inn of Midland, 810 Cinema Dr., features 176 guest rooms. Each room has a microwave, mini refrigerator, LCD TVs, plus high speed internet is available throughout the hotel.

“Our team is very focused on providing the best guest experience, we are 110 percent focused on providing each guest with the best value in the hospitality business," said general manager Debra Britz.

Other amenities include a business center, workout facility, and sundry shop.

Hotel officials said guests will also be surprised to swim in their new Michigan-shaped indoor pool.

Holiday Inn of Midland features an on-site restaurant called Big E’s Sports Grill, which is open seven days a week, showcasing 28 beers on tap.

The hotel hired 100 new employees to facilitate al the new additions.

Suburban Inns, a Rockford-based company, also owns and operates three hotels in and around Western Michigan, including Hampton Inn of Holland, which is the largest Hampton Inn in the state.
