Canton Man Jailed Twice In 24-Hour Period

ISABELLA COUNTY, Mich. -- Michigan State Police said a Canton man was arrested twice in a 24-hour period, both times on charges of drunken driving.The 41-year-old man was first jailed by Clare County sheriff’s deputies Friday on the charge of using a motor vehicle while intoxicated.He was lodged in the Clare County Jail and released Saturday.Published reports said upon his release, Isabella County authorities arrested him later Saturday after he lost control on southbound U.S. 127 in Coe Township and rolled his vehicle.The Saginaw News reported the man was unable to take a sobriety test after the accident and blood was drawn to determine his level of intoxication.
