SHIAWASSEE COUNTY, Mich. -- It’s his job to put away criminals, but right now the Shiawassee County prosecutor is himself at the center of a legal investigation.Police said prosecutor Randy Colbry was involved in a two-car crash Tuesday afternoon.Investigators said Colbry may have been drinking and while no charges have been filed, the incident certainly has the community talking.Emergency personnel responded to the intersection of Vernon Road and M-21 around 2:45 p.m. after two vehicles collided. An Owosso man was driving one vehicle and did not seek medical attention while Colbry, 59, was taken from the scene in an ambulance with minor injuries.Authorities said the investigation continues but they do believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
