After serving three years in prison for the death of his 5-year-old daughter in Flint, Jeffery Kelley is a free man.

Rose Kelley died in 2006 from what prosecutors said was liver failure and neglect.

A medical examiner said she would have lived if her parents had just taken her to the doctor.

Both Jeffery Kelley and Rose’s mother, Michelle Bowen, cut deals with prosecutors.

Bowen was released from prison last year.
