Gov. Jennifer M. Granholm will host a Regional Clean Energy Economy Forum at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, with Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle, Commerce Secretary Gary Locke, Director of Auto Recovery Ed Montgomery, and Assistant Secretary of Energy for Policy and International Affairs David Sandalow.

The administration officials and Governors will also listen to and answer questions from businesses and stakeholders about local and regional energy issues.

Locke, Montgomery, and Sandalow will continue to lay out President Obama’s vision of an energy plan to jump-start the American clean energy sector and create millions of new jobs.

The administration is keen on developing technologies that will cut pollution while producing alternative sources of energy.

The event will take place at the Dow Event Center, 303 Johnson Street, Saginaw.
