Police are investigating three shootings in less than 24 hours in the city of Saginaw.

Shots rang out around 6 p.m. Thursday in front of the Restoration Outreach Rescue Mission in the 1200 block of Norman Street.

When emergency crews arrived at the homeless shelter, they found a man who had been shot in the chest.

Saginaw police said the victim had been arguing with people driving by in a car. The man died a short time later.

Three hours later, police responded to a shooting on Annesley Street near 10th Street.

A 35-year-old man was shot several times and was last listed in critical condition. Police said they are investigating.

The final shooting occurred Friday morning at the Cadillac Lounge in the 1700 block of Veterans Memorial Parkway.

Employees of the lounge said a 27-year-old man was shot in the chest outside of the club. Police said his injuries are considered life-threatening.

Police had no suspects in custody from any of the shootings as of Friday morning. Police have not commented if the attacks appear to be related.

Police also responded to a report of a woman not breathing at 515 N. Harrison on the city’s west side Thursday around 5 p.m.

When officers arrived the woman was dead, police said. Her death is being treated as suspicious.
