ROSCOMMON COUNTY, Mich. -- Strike Team Investigative Narcotics Group officers raided a Nester Township home Tuesday and uncovered an alleged outdoor marijuana growing operation.More than $500,000 worth of pot -- including nearly 1,300 plants and 50 pounds of processed marijuana, about $1,400, eight firearms and paraphernalia used to grow, cultivate and process marijuana were seized, according to a news release.One Roscommon man and two Genesee County men were arrested and lodged for manufacturing marijuana and possession with intent to deliver.Officer said they began they’re investigation on Oct. 10 and a Tuesday fly-over revealed a large crop in swampy area across the street from one suspect’s home.Deputies from the Roscommon County Sheriff’s Office, Troopers from the MSP Houghton Lake Post and officers from the Richfield Township Police Department assisted STING.
