A well-known 1970’s child star will soon have his own television game show airing in eight markets across the state, including here on WNEM TV5.

The new TV game show, “Make Me Rich!” is hosted by Christopher Knight, best known for his role as Peter Brady on the hit TV series "The Brady Bunch."

"Make Me Rich!" will award over $4 million in cash and prizes, according to a news release.

Contestants appearing on "Make Me Rich!" won the opportunity by playing Michigan Lottery Instant Games and will compete in four separate games for a chance to win a 2010 Mustang GT Premium, or a grand prize of $2 million.

"I like to describe it as the "Price Is Right" on steroids," Knight said. "It's a game show for the lottery, unlike any game show previously produced."

Created by Hollywood game show producer Jonathan Goodson Productions, "Make Me Rich!" will air new shows quarterly in eight markets across the state: Alpena (WBKB-TV), Detroit (WDIV-TV), Flint (WNEM-TV), Grand Rapids (WXSP-TV), Lansing (WLAJ-TV), Marquette/Escanaba (WJMN-TV), Muskegon (WMXG-TV) and Traverse City (WGTU-TV).

Knight recently reentered the scene when he garnered attention for his appearances on VH1's "The Surreal Life" then his life-altering experience on "My Fair Brady."

Most recently, Knight found his calling as a game show host on the game show "Trivial Pursuit America Plays."

The debut show is scheduled to air Friday at 7:30 p.m.
