SAGINAW, Mich. -- Thousands of people are lining up across the United States and in Mid-Michigan for a chance at the H1N1 vaccine.People descended to the nasal spray vaccine clinic in Genesee County Tuesday night at the health department’s Burton site.The county’s first public H1N1 clinic lasts until 7 p.m., with another clinic scheduled for Thursday.The clinic will offer the nasal spray vaccine only. It is free and available on a walk-in basis.Watch:
Team Coverage: H1N1 Vaccine UpdatesThe Bay County Health Department announced it will be also be holding a H1N1 FluMist vaccination clinic, starting Friday.The first will be from 1 to 4 p.m. at the health department. The second will be from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday at the Bay County Community Center.Neither Genesee nor Bay County have the H1N1 vaccination needle-form available for the public yet.Vaccinations are also currently under way -- or are planned -- in Midland, Tuscola, Huron and Shiawassee counties.Saginaw County officials began administrating H1N1 vaccines on health care workers with direct patient care Monday.
