Elderly Man Killed While Trying To Cross Street

Midland Crash Remains Under Investigation

MIDLAND, Mich. -- A 75-year-old Midland man was struck and killed while trying to cross a street along Eastman Avenue in Midland.

It happened just after 7 p.m. Tuesday when the man stepped into the intersection of Eastman Avenue near Saint Andrews.

He was pronounced dead at the hospital. Police said a 36-year-old Midland woman was turning southbound on Eastman Avenue when she struck him.

No other details were made available.
