SAGINAW, COUNTY, Mich. -- Gratiot Road in Merrill has reopened after a vehicle crashed into the side of a two-story home Thursday morning.WNEM TV5 reported the driver lost control of the vehicle, slammed into some mailboxes and struck the side of the home -- just below the second-story bedroom window.A neighbor told TV5's Craig McMorris the driver and the homeowner were both taken to the hospital.The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.The cause of the crash was under investigation.Stay with WNEM.com and TV5 as more information becomes available.
