SANDUSKY, Mich. -- A domestic assault suspect will be arraigned after being accused of using his tractor-trailer as a deadly weapon Sunday morning.Sanilac County sheriff’s deputies said the 49-year-old man assaulted a female at a home in Marion Township, then attempted to ram his semitrailer into the vehicle of a another woman who was attempting to leave the residence.The woman told deputies the driver of the rig, then tried to run her off the roadway.According to a news release, officers spotted the semitrailer on Ruth Road on near Deckerville, before losing it while en-route.At the same time, Central Dispatch received several calls from citizens who were listening to the chase on a police scanner -- updating dispatchers on the speeding truck’s whereabouts.Deputies found the rig in the parking lot of Jeff’s Market, where the suspect was taken into custody on suspicion of domestic assault and felonious assault with a motor vehicle.
