FLINT, Mich. -- Local leaders announced a Heisman Trophy campaign push for former Flint Southwestern Academy and current Alabama running back Mark Ingram.Politicians and educational leaders met at the Genesys Athletic Club Tuesday morning to show support for a player who many consider a front-runner for the most coveted trophy in college sports.Ingram played at Grand Blanc Community High School, but transferred to Flint Southwestern Academy after his junior year.He ran for more than 2,500 yards and 38 touchdowns in his final two years at Southwestern Academy.In 2009, Ingram has compiled 1,339 yards on 250 rushes and has scored 12 touchdowns for the No. 2-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide.You can help vote for the Heisman Trophy winner on ESPN.com.
