OWOSSO, Mich. -- Members of a pro-life group gathered Tuesday at the spot James Poullion -- the Owosso man gunned down, allegedly for his abortion beliefs -- in front of Owosso High School.The followers of Operation Save America turned out Tuesday morning in Owosso and cities across the nation to pay tribute to Poullion.He was killed in September, allegedly at the hands of Harlan Drake.“We’re here to say ‘stop the violence,’” said Flip Benham, director Operation Save America. “Don’t do violence against pro-lifers, don’t do violence against pro-abortionists. Our message is simple -- stop the violence.”Gravel pit owner Mike Fuoss was also killed, allegedly by Drake, on the same day.Drake is charged with first-degree murder and gun violations. His lawyer is considering an insanity defense.
