WNEM TV5 has learned the vehicle Tiger Woods was driving at the time of his accident outside his Florida home is registered to a business in Mid-Michigan.

The Florida Highway Patrol report shows that the vehicle he crashed, a 2009 Cadillac Escalade, is actually registered to a business in Saginaw Township.

The report indicates the SUV is registered at 2717 Schust Road to Morley Travel.

A company spokesman said Morley processes thousands of car registrations each year for companies like General Motors, and that is simply one of those vehicles.

Woods was cited for careless driving after crashing early Friday morning.

Speculation has been rampant as to what led up to the crash, but the Woods family has kept quiet about the event.

Wednesday Woods apologized to his fans and supporters, saying he hasn’t been true to his values and regrets his “transgressions,” although what the transgressions are is not addressed.

The statement came as US Weekly published a story alleging Woods had an affair with a Los Angeles cocktail waitress.
