Rescue Crews Say Ice-Goers Cold, But OK

TUSCOLA COUNTY, Mich. -- U.S. Coast Guard Station Saginaw River rescued five people who were stranded near the Thomas Marina in Tuscola County on Sunday.Coast Guard officials said three females and two males were rescued after two all-terrain vehicles they had been riding fell through the ice.The victims were able to get out of the water, back onto the ice and call 911."They all seemed OK, not hypothermic, just wet and really cold," said Petty Officer 2nd Class Greg Torrey, coxswain of Saginaw River's airboat.The five were treated at the scene and were released.
