Two 12-year-old boys will be charged with breaking and entering after police said they vandalized and stole from a Bangor Township high school.

The teens, who have not been identified, allegedly broke into the concession stand at the football field at John Glenn High School, 3201 Kiesel Rd., just before 9 p.m. Monday.

Michigan State Police said the duo entered the building, consumed hot dogs and soda pop then set fire to a box.

Police believe the blaze was quickly put out by one of the suspects with a fire extinguisher, but not before they vandalized the building by pouring pop and liquid soda on the floors.

Police said they also found a stolen briefcase on fire in the bleacher seats of the football stadium.

A MSP K9 Unit tracked one of the suspects to a home on Broadmore Drive in Bay City. Police said the juvenile confessed to the crimes and named his accomplice.

The second teen was arrested a short time later.

The pair will also likely be charged with arson, larceny and malicious destruction of property.
