Mom Faces Judge In Baby's Dumpster Death
Bay County's Nicole Kipfmiller Charged With Second-Degree Murder

BAY CITY, Mich. -- The Williams Township woman accused of murdering her newborn was back in court Thursday.Investigators said 19-year-old Nicole Kipfmiller threw her baby in a dumpster outside a convenience store in December.Kipfmiller has been charged with second-degree murder in the case.The doctor who performed the baby's autopsy took the stand and said the infant was born alive and was breathing.Kipfmiller has previously stated that the baby didn't cry or move when it was born.The hearing was adjourned and a decision on whether the case will go to trial has yet to be made.
