Tucson, AZ (KOLD) - Friday, a huge morale boost for Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords' staff members, who went back to work Monday.

One of their coworkers, Pam Simon, who was wounded in the shooting, visited Giffords' Tucson office to help everyone's healing, including her own.

One of the first things Pam Simon said she wanted to do when she got out of the hospital was to visit her co-workers, and less than 24 hours after being released, that's just what she did.

Simon says she will work on finding ways for the community to get help to people who have mental illness and are not getting help.

Friday was an extraordinary day at Giffords' office.

Just after Pam Simon left, another boost for staffers.

Giffords' District Director Ron Barber visited.

He had been released from the hospital a few hours earlier.
