Ex-Con Sentenced To Life In Stepfather's Slaying 6-01-2010

The man found guilty of killing his stepfather and uncle has been sentenced to life in prison by a state court.
Gary Gould, 48, was convicted in April of stabbing his 70-year-old stepfather, Jacob Wurmlinger, more than a dozen times and then attacking his 68-year-old uncle Harry Reynolds.
The July 2009 attack also left his mother and aunt injured.
Gould, of Sanilac County's Fremont Township, was found guilty in circuit court of two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of attempted murder.
Gould was released from prison in 2008 after serving 12 years for assaulting his girlfriend with a hammer. The Bay City Times reports Gould is also a registered sex offender.
