Kettering University, MSU Ink Medical Contract 6-08-2010

A local university has inked a deal with Michigan State University, guaranteeing two slots into its competitive medical school.
Kettering University announced an agreement with Michigan State University that will ensure at least two Kettering students get into the MSU program.
Kettering students are some of the most sought after medical school candidates in the country.
Marsha Rapley, dean of MSU’s College of Medicine, said the students have a knack for thinking differently about technology.
“They have a unique way of thinking that is focused on solving problems,” said Rapley.
Other Michigan universities participating in the Early Assurance program with MSU include Northern, Lake Superior State, Michigan Tech and Grand Valley.
