Got Hazardous Waste? City Holds Drop-Off Day 6-14-2010

People with household waste they want disposed of properly can do so Saturday, June 26.
Another 2010 Household Special Waste Drop-Off Day will take an assortment of materials at the Arthur Hill High School staff parking lot. The drop off runs from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
The city held a drop-off day this past weekend on June 19.
The event will not take certain items, such as business waste, explosives, ammunition, tires or asbestos-contaminated materials.
Items that are acceptable include used motor oil, antifreeze, latex paints, lead-acid batteries, lawn chemicals, lead, mercury and pool chemicals.
Residents from Saginaw County, the Village of Breckenridge, and people in Bethany and Wheeler Townships are welcome to drop off their special waste.
